When I drafted this team I thought I was going to be in first place by now, but I am in 10th out of 12 teams, and it is a hitting only league! No pitchers at all.

I picked up bruce and play him over Jason Bay, I have Matt Holiday on the bench since he is on the DL, should I pick up Milton Bradley and if so who should I start him over?

Should I try to make some trades or just hang tight?

  1. I'm in a similar situation (except with pitching). Your team probably isn't taking advantage of the league settings. Like you have a power hitting team, but your league may be more reliant on averages and steals and stuff.

Just keep on chugging, it will pay out when the rust comes off

  2. Look at the Head-to-Head stats on the main page and see what your weakness' are.  I agree with a previous post - you're probably losing in steals, batting average, runs, and maybe triples, and any other speed catagory.  Goof Luck!

  3. I think you should give a shot at Bradley,he is catching fire right now and should play him over Jay Bruce. For the rest of your team,I have one question: Why aren't you destroying teams? You have tons of power and great potential, but pick up Milton Bradley who is batting (14-43-.340) you could really use the average.

  4. I don't know how you could be 10th place. Molina, Uggla, Upton have been great; Lee,Wright and Young and Bay have been good. Only Howard and Dunn are relatively struggling. Now you have Bruce tearing it up. Hold tight - Wright and Howard should go off at any time.

  5. You have a really good team, I'm surprised that your tenth!

Howard, despite some good power, is having a terrible season.  Put Jason Bay in as utility and put Howard on the bench. You don't need to pick up Bradley. Keep Howard for now and see if he will start hitting after the All-Star break or so.

    Good luck.

  6. I'm really surprised that your team is in tenth place. Once Holiday gets back, play him over B.J. I would also recommend playing Jason Bay over Ryan Howard because your lineup has enough power hitters in it between Lee, Uggla, Wright, Dunn, and Holiday. Bay is also somewhat of a power hitter but he also has a better batting average than Howard. I would just hang tight because we are not even to the All-Star break yet and i have a feeling your team will catch fire soon.
