How is my first Fantasy Football League?

Please rate my team by position and leave advice like who to add,drop,trade, and stuff like that.

QB:Pretty good overall. Tony Romo has the weapons to have a monster year and Young has a few new weapons he can throw to and that will open up his running game

RB:Wow is all I have to say. You have 3 of the top 10 backs in the NFL good job on that.

WR:I'm not too sure about this bunch. Marshall is alright but not great and the same for Calvin Johnson. Coles is also iffy.

TE:Good TE's you should get a lot of productivity out of them

K:You only need 1 kicker

DEF:Good choice on defense

Overall: A pretty good team in my opinion except you need a few changes. Trade one of your runningbacks and a receiver to get a great WR because your pretty weak there. Also, drop a kicker and pick up another RB. Good luck this year

wide receiver is pretty weak so depending on what is available, you should trade one of your RB's for a solid receiver cuz you have 3 good backs that should all put up good numbers for ya.

OK, firstly, I don't know how many teams in league.  Secondly, I don't know how many starters at each position.  Thirdly, I don't know if it's a keeper league or not.

Having said all this, I'll make 3 assumptions: 1)  There are 10-12 teams in league.  2)  You start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF  3)  This is not a keeper league...

Please post below if any of my assumptions are grossly miscalculated.

QB- Romo is great, should be in for high scoring season

RB- Addai is great, Gore is solid but I'm not sure about durability + team's offensive firepower, Parker is great + in for another nice season, but, they lost Faneca to Jets

WR- Marshall and Chad are great, but not much depth after that.  

TE- Witten is great

K-  Who cares... it's a crapshoot

DEF- Steelers look good at this point

Overall, I like your team, as your starting lineup as described above is:

QB- Romo

RB-  Addai

RB- Parker

WR- Marshall

WR- Ocho Cinco

RB/WR- Gore

TE-  Witten

K- Dawson

DEF- Steelers

Overall, on paper, this team looks outstanding.  The only problem could arise should one of your starters gets injured, as you don't have much in the way of backups.

However, I'm unsure as to why you would ever draft 2 TE or 2 K.  You can just pick one up during starters bye week.  You should use those spots to add depth to your team at QB, RB, and WR.

Overall, looks very good, barring injury.  Hope you have a successful season.

Your team rocks but I would drop one f your kickers and pick up another defense just for safety.

QBs are strong.

RBs are strong.

WRs - this is your weak spot. Calvin Johnson is very average, and unless he has some miracle break out season, don't look for big numbers from him.

L. Coles was great 2 seasons ago, but last season he struggled badly. He was hurt most of the year and only played in 12 games with 646 yards and 6 TDs.

He also has had a contract dispute with the Jets over the offseason.

As far as Hester goes, I have never seen any DB that put up any kind of numbers that warrent having them in the line up at WR for fantasy purposes. He may get you some kick return TDs, but certainly not every game.

My advice would be to find someone in your league that has a weak QB and try to trade Vince Young for one of their good WRs. After that, keep your eyes open for sleepers that stand out at WR through training camps and preseason games.

Don't be afraid to drop you backup kicker and TE to pick up other free agents.
