How is my minute poem?

I had a pair of leather shoes

I loved to use;

And everywhere,

I wore that pair.

The soft brown glow of cordovan

Implored even

My snobbish friends

To overspend.

O strong steel shank! Alas, by might

And jealous spite,

The TSA

Stole you away.

Loved it but it felt a little unfinished. Could you add two lines at the end that give it a surprizing twist or that restate its point.

Reminded me a little bit of Sylvia Plath but not so dark as she.

It was funny. I also loved S2 (clever lines). This little form is more involved than it initially appears.
