How is my photography?

Question

Ok, I asked this question a million times but I need to know if I'm improving. Okay, here are some of my photos from today. The birds are mostly out of focus but they were all in my neighbor's yard (UGH) so I had to like SUPER ZOOM. But other than the out of focus how would you rate my photos?

You're not involved enough in what you take pictures of to make them convincing. You look like you're doing stuff because you can't think of anything else (better) to do, and it shows. These are not good photos: you're not excited by what you do; why should we be?

You're a snapper. The difference between a photographer and a snapper is a photographer has the image in his/her head before they press the shutter, the snapper just takes whatever is in front of them.

Being a snapper is no bad thing, we all started off snapping.

All of the bird pics are of the back of the bird wouldn't it be worth waiting until the bird is facing the other way?

I'm t5rying to be encouraging but not much to say.  They look ok but not 'eye-catching' appeal.  Birds out of focus and mostly centered with no clear definition.

I took the time to go over you pictures so I would suggest to crop the pictures a bit more, some 'rule of third' to get viewer's attention

I really liked your pictures, especially those first ones with the light coming through the leaves. Keep working on it; you're a great photographer!

You captured the light perfectly. I don't really like any of the others....they're good, but like you said, blurry and out of focus.

nice pics yes, I liked the button on your jean's pocket..

cool.. the color of the jean, its button and the light glowing from behind, makes it excellent shot!!
