  1. Well that depends on what kind of fighters you are boxing.  Alfonso Gomez  had a good record and as a boxer he STINKS!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe fighting the amateur fights were good for him, but professional fights  are a no no for him.

  2. dude go for it theres been alot of guys with bellys on them work on flattening it  crunches

  3. Theres no reason to rush into it.

Just because youll be 18 and can legally get your liscense

    does'nt mean you have to.

Pros is all about skill and entertaiment...

    Amatuers is all about competing.

Normally if you want to have a good pro career you need to have a good foundation which is your amatuer career

While fighting in the amatuer's you can face many different

oppoents and learn to fight different style's

and learn about your own idenity as a fighter.

records dont mean anything, any fighter can be undefeated

    because there facing c**p oppoents..

Its all about skill master your fighting style

master all the fundementals, every punch and defense.

And if you become a good skilled fighter then you hit the pros

and walk right through all the crappy fighters.

    Perfect example

Yuriorkis Gamboa the hot prospect, he had over 400 amateur fights and once he hit the pros after only 8 fights

    he was already ranked # 4 # 8  by wbc & wba

    Its all about skill
