I got a very late pick in this 10 team league, and didnt get the oppertunity to get a great RB.....but what do you think from 1-10

QB-Peyton Manning

RB-Jamal Lewis

RB-Darren McFadden

WR-Reggie Wayne

WR-Andre Johnson

WR-Santonio Holmes

TE-Antonio Gates

K-Stephen Gostkowski

DEF-Steelers

B-Jonathon Stewart

B-Selvin Young

B-Jerious Norwood

B-Sidney Rice

B-Donald Driver

B-DeAngelo Williams

B-Jericho Cotchery

I figured since i had weak RBs i would draft many of them hoping one will shine... and should i add a QB,TE,K, or DEF??? because i feel i dont need to because i will only use them for a bye (unless i should pick up one for peyton, monitoring his status).......how did i do??

  1. I like your team and  I will give it an 8 for potential. You have good WRs and a great TE and QB. I would pick up a Qb if I were you. Because manning can be iffy and you have to do something for bye week

  2. after all that money BIG AL threw at DMAC he'll fight for nothing he'll have to go out there and prove himself, but then again he has'nt proven hisslef so i'd start williams, and don't worry 'bout your Qb pick one up when your bye comes up, i'd giv u a 7

  3. QB - Peyton Manning is the 2nd best QB in the NFL, but even he needs a back-up. 8/10

RB - Jamal Lewis should have another big year. McFadden has potential, but shouldn't start for the Raiders until week 6 at least. Selvin Young is a good back-up. Norwood will play second fiddle to Michael Turner in Atlanta. DeAngelo Williams will be splitting carries with Jonathon Stewart, neither will produce much since Jake Delhomme is back in business. You have wwwwaaaayyyyy too many runningbacks. 5/10

WR - Wayne and Johnson are two of the best WRs in the NFL. Holmes has the potential to be a top WR too. Driver is a question mark mainly because of the Green Bay QB situation. Cotchery should do just fine. Sidney Rice could disappoint if the Vikings don't get Brett Favre. 8/10

TE - Antonio Gates is one of the best TEs. He still needs a back-up though. 8/10

K - Gostkowski is the best fantasy kicker in the league. 10/10

D/ST - The Steelers have a top defensive unit, but they need someone to back them up. 8/10

    Tips:

    1. Look to trade: Jonathon Stewart, Donald Driver, and Darren McFadden.

    2. Drop for someone better: Sidney Rice, Jerious Norwood, DeAngelo Williams.

    3. Pick-Up: 1 QB, 1 TE, 1 D/ST

You're team would be really good if you had back-ups at QB, TE, and D/ST. You have wwwwaaaayyyyy too many runningbacks on your team right now.

    Overall Grade: A-  with 7/10

  4. Overall Grade: 6.5-7.5, lower if it's a PPR League

Strengths: Reggie Wayne, plus Manning if healthy will make a nice "double dip."  Great TE (when healthy), strong DEF and kicker.

Weaknesses: A ton of risk on this team, through injuries, age, and rookies.  You have no backup QB.

Manning just had knee surgery.  He should be fine, but that exact same bursa condition ended Harrison's season last year.

Antonio Gates has ongoing big toe issues, major enough to require a 4-6 month recovery time.

Jamal Lewis is 29, the tipping point for a decline.  A lot of his success was the product of a last place schedule last season.

McFadden has a lot of backs in camp around him to take carries, and he is completely unproven.

Andre Johnson has never completed a season healthy.  He typically misses 4-6 games a year, or is otherwise limited by injury.

I like that you speculated on lots of backs to fill in.

For this team to have a realistic chance one or two of your rookie or young backs (Young) will have to pan out.

This will be an interesting season for you.  You could absolutely launch, or blow up on the pad.  High risk, heavy gambles, but I hope it pans out for you.

  5. That is a good team, you absolutely did the right thing by getting depth at your weakest spot, i think you can get 2 good starters out of that crew.

  6. your WR crew is stacked and of course Peyton is the sh*t. Little worries at RB whih might prevent you from a championship, but its definitely a solid team

  7. That is solid team its just put in deangelo williams since mcfadden is fighting with fargas bush and jordan for a starting job. and pick up a backup defence u will need it for bye week then drop it again if you want.  I give it a 7.5

  8. your rbs are weak but you made up for it with manning and a solid wrs you have the best te and alot of depth id say 8.5 youll probbally ens up in 2nd or third place
