  1. neon is a noble gas.  it doesn't bond with any other element.  So an atom of neon is always pure.

    In large quantity, it is kept in sealed containers.  (neon light bulbs for example)


  2. The electron shells are full in the neon atom, it does not seek more electrons so it is chemically stable.

  3. it has a chemical in it that allows for it to sustain its purest form. but who knows. maybe neon is just another form of something else that isn't pure. you never know.
