  1. any kind of crude oil   go to oil refinery & the gasoline you use for your car is one of 8 prudacts at list comes frome  the grude oil .

    - the deferent of the crude oil is the purity & percentage of the white prudact in it .

    - i hope that i reach your question .

    have a nice day

  2. Using a process called fractional distillation.

  3. Crude oil is turned into various other forms including gasoline through a refining process. The refining process is basic distilling where the oil is heated and it separates into different components.

    That is the very simplistic explanation. For more detail, google "refining crude oil into gasoline"

  4. Same way they make whiskey - in a still.  In the case of gasoline, the equipment is a lot larger.  They heat up the oil and tap it off somewhere up a column, where it cools and condenses.  The temperatures are controlled so the tap is always at the right temperature for the kind of petroleum they want.

    That applies to oil from other places than Iraq.

  5. OIL from IRAQ never gets to your car.  American oil refining companies have been thrown out of IRAQ since 1980.  They just received some contract THIS YEAR.

    Most of American crude come from Canada and MEXICO.  But because all the prices are international, the price from middle east affects the price in Canada.

    Good Luck...

    === UPDATE ===

    Oh OK.  So to answer that question;  the process of making gasoline form crude is similar to the process of making moon shine.  Basically the crude is distilled untill you boil off the gasoline and then it condense.  The actuall process is called FRACTIONAL DISTILLATION

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractional_...

    Because they are distill more than one kind of fuel at once.  Then the gasoline is all put into the gasoline pipeline that travels to different states (mostly FROM few states like Texas and NJ).  Oh yes, ALL the gasoline company shares the same pipeline.  They are basically all the same gas.

    From the other end point the gasoline is trucked to your gas station.
