How is one hog-tied ?

I read the newspaper a while ago where three men were found dead. The report went on to say thatthe police found them hog-tied. What does that mean?

they were bound with hands and feet together

With their hands behind their back (like if you get arrested) and tied together and then their feet tied to their hands. Eek.
