  1. Paper consists of pulp fibers that interlock with other fibers and fillers and other ingredients.

    By taking old paper and cardboard and soaking it, the fibers can be released and reused for another product.

    The quality is a little less as the fuzz from the fibers break off with repeated recycling, but the process takes less energy than digesting wood.
