  4. Its beautiful, full of history, nice places to go, people here is friendly... just the best country =)

  5. It is a beautiful country with great people just like everyone says.  It can however be a very dangerous place.

When traveling to Peru be very cautious.  Most people who come into contact with you for business in Peru will try to take you for as much as they can.  This means that Taxi drivers will try to get you to pay for everything including lunch.  Negotiate a price before you get into the vehicle.  Carry a knife with you and sit directly behind the driver.  Know your route.  A friend of mine got rolled by a taxi driver. The driver took him to a place where some of his friends were waiting, they took everything including his shoes. Be aggressive.

Also be aware of the health standards.  As they are extremely low.  I got deadly ill when I was in Peru.  Carry some Cipro with you.  It'll turn a bad vacation into an enjoyable one.  Stay away from pork when in Peru.  Processed Ham is OK but anything else is dangerous.

Everywhere you go you will also encounter some dude chiseling rocks.  I think they assign one to every American who enters the country.  You will be awoken by this guy chiseling rocks every morning no matter where your at in Peru.  It's highly difficult to cope with when you have a  hangover.

    Pass on the Guinea Pig.

They use human f***s to fertilize their lettuce.

Girls won't drink ice cold beer because they think that it harms their uterus.

All the bus drivers think that they're Mario Andretti.

  6. It's great.  Has the coast, jungle and mountains, everythign you could want

  7. it's a wonderful place to see because of all these ancient temples and things; but as it's mostly in the mountains, you should eat very little at first: pressure is different and many people throw up when they eat, say, a usual breakfast. You can expect changes in blood pressure and headaches, too. So, to enjoy yourself properly, make it a longish trip, up to two weeks to get acclimatized, and visit all the ancient temples and shrines of Incas civilization.

Machu Picchu ruins are a must, they are spectacular.
