  1. limestone and chalk wear away SLOWER than that of clay.  As clay are small sediments they erodes quite quickly.  Limestone has actually lithified as such it will take longer to erode.  It will erode fastest via chemical weathering as the water dissolves the rock.  These coasts usually form headlands, chalk shorelines usually form cliffs without much headland area.


  2. Limestone is effected lots because its a soft rock

    Same with chalk

    Clay isnt effected as much and will take longer to erode because its stronger
