How is size 0 associated with anorexia?

The two things are extremly different.

Anorexia is a mental illness

Size 0 is just a fashion statement?

If you are petite and a size 0 that can be completely normal.

If you are not eating and think that you are overweight at size 0 you could be anorexic.

But just so you know what size you wear has absolutely nothing to do with fashion.

Most anorexic women strive for a size 0. Which I would never do because 0 represents nothing.

~I don't think size 0 is associated with anorexia. If you are a size 0 and do not binge and purge, then you are not anorexic. Be yourself! and be proud of who you are, no matter what your size!~

In general they are not associated, but think about it, 0 makes -2 sense on the size scale, mine as well just say 20, lol, but thats why.

Other than that, I'd have to say size 0 shouldn't be, becuase anorexia is just skin and bone, you can still have meat and were a 0

you have to be extremely thin to fit into it.

to be extremely thin you basically have to stop eating.

if you stop eating you become anorexic,

hence the association.

Because it is not healthy anyone that's starves to look a certain way is mentally ill.
