How is sociology different from history and what is the similarity between the two subject?

They are different in that some "Sociologists" are probably some of the people that "rewrite" History

There do exist "revisionists" who will present history according to their personal and political views.

Sociology is the study of how we all live together and interact every day as groups and such.  History is what has happened.  both have always existed and looking at the history of interactions you can identify good and bad social behavior for future reference..  The words have no similarity other than how you choose to use them in your study. History is how we know about everything.
