How is starch used by plants during respiration?

  1. Plants store energy in starch coz its osmotically in active (so it doesnt dissolve in water etc)


  2. wow!!! weve just been learning about this in school. :D

    Starch=glucose

    carbon dioxide + water = glucose + oxygen

    so the plant breathes in carbon dioxide, takes in water and then it pops out as oxygen for us and yummy yummy glucose food.

    the plant eats it :D
