How is the Christian Coalition "pro family"?

I have heard the group described this way. Any idea why? I thought they were just about promoting a particular religion. Do they really promote policies that help families? If so, which ones?

  1. They promote marriage instead of having babies out of wed lock,or shacking up and making babies in an unstable environment.

They also promote family counseling marriage counseling etc.

Your secular anti religious groups want people to act like dogs in heat with no thought of the kids who are murdered by abortion or raised in single parent homes where they are exposed to mom's pedophile b/fs later on.

  2. Pro family describes certain values and beliefs they promote that are family oriented, or to help the family dynamic.

  3. It's just a meaningless catch phrase meant to put down everyone else as "obviously anti-family".

  4. Ummm... they think it's good for people to have big families I guess. Or they're advocating 'traditional family values' (think the 1950's). Or else they're doing what they *think* is best for families, whether or not is actually is in practice.
