  1. Depends on the concert.  The venue is old, and you are right, there is no seating.

Some bands pack people right up to maximum possible number, if that happens, visibility can be poor and you get the pushing and shoving.  If they keep the ticket sales reasonable its a lot better and a fun place to see a show.

  2. The Electric Factory is a great place to see bigger bands in a smaller venue. There are bar seats on the balcony for those who like and an open floor for those who like to be more involved.

However, I've been to many crowded venues, and this is one of the worst. They should lower the capacity by 20%. I guess that would make no financial sense. Every inch of the place is packed. The security can also be a bit overbearing.  The search going in is heavier then an airport. Also, be warned that the acoustics are awful.

  3. I was there to see HIM last November..I was sort of in the back and could still see (5' 6"). Yes it can get a lil bit dingerous depending on who youre seeing.

  4. I saw a concert there a few years ago, and I had a great time. It was a little crowded, but if you get there fairly early you can get a place up near the stage.
