How is the Gameworks in Long Beach?

Me and my 14-year-old cousin wants to head down to see how the Gameworks in Long Beach is but I heard some people here and there that it's very highly adultery over there and a bit violent, especially after 9 pm obviously because Gameworks restrictions say that after that time, only people over 21 can go in.

We're planning to be over there by 3 pm and leave around 6 pm to be safe. I guess the better thing to ask is how about the area outside the Gameworks in Long Beach as well, especially during the time we'll be there.

Gameworks is in the middle of the tourist trap part of Long Beach. It's next to the convention center and in the middle of the Pike, close to the Aquarium of the Americas and Rainbow Harbor which is very family friendly during the day. The police keep a close eye on everything.

In Long Beach all kids under the age of 18 have a curfew of 10pm to be off the streets. Gameworks kicks the under 18 kids out early because they want the adults to come in because they will spend more money.

Look at the Pike's website and you will see it's pretty mellow.

If the place was in North Long Beach than I would say don't go.
