How is the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta?

I was thinking about having a Birthday Dinner there. I have never been there before. I wanted to see how their menu prices were running.

Very touristy and not a place you want to celebrate a birthday.  I would only go there if I were attending a concert downtown or another function downtown.  Downtown Atlanta "ain't" where it's at!

Hard Rock is not the place you want to go.

First off, the location stinks. Right in downtown, full of wandering conventioneers, street bums and panhandlers.  

The food is below average.  Burgers are their specialty.

I don't know how old you are but there are much better places to go than the Hard Rock Cafe.

If you're looking for great food in a funky upscale atmosphere with live music make a reservation at 2 Urban Licks.  Near the Carter Center off Ralph McGill. They can handle your party no matter how big (or small) it is.

The Hard Rock doesnt allow people to make reservations and trying to go there on a friday or saturday night will have you waiting atleast 2hrs to get seated.

Overall the food is good and the prices arent too bad.

it's great,i have been to six different hard rock cafes,and i  liked all of them.the one in atlanta is very good.

I personally think the price is ok. The only thing is it is loud. If you don't mind screaming to have a casual conversation with someone then go for it.
