How is the University of rochester?

UofR is a beautiful campus - it is not in downtown Rochester - so the downfall is that it doesn't have a campus town feel like a lot of colleges.   If you are going for Pre Med, Optical Engineering, or Econ it's a great school.   It is Division 3 so it doesn't have a huge sports following.
