  1. Not only is it bad for beginners it is bad for everyone, noisy and uses gas, get a bicycle more fun and better for you.


  2. It's bad because it has fairings (expensive to repair/replace) and it's too powerful for a beginner. Start with something mmore practical like a used naked Suzuki SV650 and maybe you'll live long enough to post questions in the MOTORCYCLE section of YA. I'm not anti motorcycle, I have four of them. My first bike in 1981 was a Kawi KZ900 and I crashed it on the first day! It was minor but it could have been major and if it had fairings like most modern sportbikes it could have cost thousands of dollars. As it was I had to purchase a new speedo mount and a friend repainted for nothing. Good luck.
