  1. Mine is 80% of my normal pay.  Less if you have taxes taken out.


  2. It usually depends on what you made last year. If you file for unemployment they will use information from your last year's tax return to decide what your benefit amount is and mail you that amount. You usually have 30 days to appeal if you feel that amount is incorrect.

  3. By how much you earn, your gross annual salary and how much you have already paid into the system.

  4. It varies and depends on the state. The last time I collected unemployment (several years ago), it basically came out to 1/2 of your average pay over the last 4 complete quarters, up to a max of somewhere around $450/week. This was in MN, and may have changed since then.

    Check with your states unemployment office (they probably have a web site that will explain all this).

  5. usually 60% of your normal earnings upto a maximum
