I am curious to know what the battery length is like for the new IPhone 3G? I have heard that it is quite bad, but how many hours are we talking about? I also heard that it's better when you disable to 3G functionality..... has anyone tried this?

Also, and additional comments about the usability of the phone or any tips or tricks you have would be more than welcome.

  1. For a normal user the iPhone 3G will easily last you about 2 days. Check out some posts in the MacRumors iPhone Forum's to find personal accounts, but you will find mostly complainers because those who are satisfied won't brag about it. If you will look up a couple of pages on the go it will serve you needs without a problem. I love my iPhone 3G and personally have ZERO problems with my own.

  2. according to the numerous posts in howardforums.com the average usage is 3:38 hours on 3g. the highest ive ever heard about was 3:58. the lowest was 3 hours.

Do some more research before you decide to get the iphone.

    IMO

touchscreen phones suck. they are terrible for dialing, they are terrible for texting.

and the iphone lacks many features most phones have, and i need.
