How is the best and fastest way to lose weight ?

I am 25 years old and I have two children and I way 340lbs I have tried everything like not eating and everything else. i cant even catch my two year old so I can't take him outside to play alone because he could run into the street before I could catch him. I cry all the time help me out with some inspiring info (please no insults) I already have enough on shoulders. I weighed 268lbs two years ago than I had my baby and got sick I got some blood clots in my lungs and ever since I kept losing weight more and more. Also it runs in my family my grandmother died weighing 412lbs and all of my uncles and aunts are all from 220lbs to 450lbs and my cousins to I have one that is over 500lbs I don't want that to be me please help me!!!

  1. You can lose weight.  Motivation is the key.  If you think that you can't then you won't.  A positive attitude will carry you through and perseverance is needed.  You will probably stumble a few times along the way, but don't give up.  

    Keep working at it until you reach your goal.  Write your goals down, be realistic, and you may even want to make them public.  You will be amazed at what you can accomplish by writing in detail your goals for life.  Be specific.

    Stay the course.  If you think you will succeed then you will.  Your mind is very powerful use it to your advantage and success shall be yours.

    I have lost over 40 pounds so far and I will meet my goals.  



    Here are some tips:

    If you skip meals your body will store anything you eat as fat for later energy use.  By eating many small meals a day you keep your body fueled and it will burn excess fat for energy instead of storing it.

    You need to eat three meals a day and two healthy snacks in between meals if needed.  Eat breakfast, you will be less hungry the rest of the day and you have longer to burn those calories throughout the day.

    Try to eat fruit for breakfast.  Eat fruits and veggies with every meal and for your snacks if you need a snack between meals.

    Nuts make a great snack also and are heart healthy.

    Drink lots of water, no diet drinks.

    Always eat when you are hungry, but don't eat just to eat or because you are bored.  This is important.  Generally about every 3 hours or so.

    Eat until you are satisfied but not until you are stuffed full.  This is a biggie and will help you lose weight fast.

    Try strength training exercises either weight lifting or body weight exercise.  Muscle burns fat fast and strength training will build lean muscle.  When you strength train you can burn fat up to 24 hours after the workout.  

    You want to workout about an hour a day and never work the same muscles two days in a row.  Muscles need time to repair after your workout.

    At the very least running, walking, biking or swimming is needed.
