I'm selling a pool table that belonged to my son. I think it's a Gandy, but I can't find any markings on it. He thinks it's worth $900. What's the easy's and fastest way to sell this? It's 9 ft long. Simple lines, looks like it might have come out of a pool hall. He bought it used about 15 years ago. I'm in Atlanta 30341.

  1. Try e-bay or your local newspaper. Its usually free.

  2. Research it on eBay first, try to find a similar one and see how much they go for.

You could then list it on eBay with a "pickup only" shipping option, in your local paper or Craigslist.

  3. Try listing it on Craigslist.  I've bought so many things for my apartment through that site.  It's great.  Plus, it's FREE.

eBay is great too.  I sell lots of stuff on it.  You can mark it as a "pick-up only" so that people know they have to be local that way they can pick it up from where you have it stored at.

  4. ebay or a yard sale. you could even ask a friend if they would like to buy it.

  5. try selling it on ebay or other websites like this or you could post tags around your hometown. if you want me to tell you how to sell stuf on ebay jus contact me

  6. Put it on Craigslist. It's free

  7. try greensheet or craigs list

  8. Post an ad at your local pool halls.

  9. i would put posters up and/or put it on craigslist.com but son't put it on ebay because it costs money.

                                      hope this helped!

  10. 1st get someone knowledgeable to appraise...900 for 9' Gandy may be a little low.

2nd try AZBilliards you can sell or just for grins raffle it off (yes raffle go to the site and check it out )

3rd go to the largest poolroom you can find and ask if you can post a sale notice there. Include a picture from several angles.

4th sell the table where is as is...you don't want the cost of take down, transport and setup.

    Luck

    K

PS is this 9' playing surface or the total length of table...big difference.
