How is the best way to store eggs in the fridge if you dont have a carton?

My son gives me eggs his chicken lays and im not sure if it best to just put in bowl with no lid or put in an air tight container.

No bowl is necessary when storing eggs. Lucky you that you get your eggs for me. Now, that's something to "cluck" about.

Eggs are porous and will pick up other food flavors, so I suggest covering the bowl with plastic wrap.

A bowl with no lid is fine.

We store loose eggs in an open bowl so they don't roll around.  Eggs get used at our house quickly enough that they don't absorb smells/flavors or dry out.

Just in a bowl would be fine, the only reason eggs come in cartons is to protect them from breaking.
