Question:

How is the bombing of abortion clinics different than the destruction of the World Trade Center?

In both cases, did not religious fundamentalists percieve an injustice and take God's will into their own hands?

  1. Dude, you are kinda ignorant.  The people who wanted to bomb abortion clinics were just eeking with a desire to troll.  Do you have any idea the philosophy of being that "one christian guy" who realizes its messed up and plans the whole thing and talks other people into doing it, and allwhile telling himself "OMFG--I'm fixing to pwn these mindslaves".

I assure you that the reason it happened was because the masterminds purely wanted to just be "troll"s.  They had nothing against abortions, just wanted to listen to the barenaked ladies song "one week" and wanted to do something extremely ironic (and they themselves were philosophers--and agnostics, but like philosophy and its experiments).

Afterall, 500,000,000 years from now when our sun turns into a white dwarf and encompasses the earth--do you really think your life or "morals" mean **it?

  2. Abortion Clinics, are not dealing with the Quintessential Purpose of the World Trade Centre.

    Which was, MONEY

  3. there's no difference. this is yet another example of conservative hypocrisy and double standards..

  4. I think they are quite the same with one difference.  The bombing of abortion clinics serves a purpose to end a certain injustice at its source.  The world trade center was just random violence meant to let the world know how pissed off the western world has made the people of the middle east.

  5. I will assume that only staff are killed in the bombing of abortion clinics.

On one perspective those that work in abortion mills are guilty of taking (or assisting in taking) lives. However there is nothing about working in the WTC which directly implies the taking of lives. Therefore the bombing of abortion clinics could be construed as an action that does NOT take "innocent" lives (as does the destruction of the WTC)

So it could be argued that they differ in terms of their "justness".

Personally, I do not believe we are just or right in taking any life.

  6. ...different beliefs of each terrorist groups...

...a foreign group and a domestic group...

...one against the taking of innocent lives...

...the other against a country and their lifestyle...

  7. Smaller scale.

Both of them share the same trait of fear. But the reality is that the difference is only in the scale of the separate bombings.

Regardless of whether fair warning is given to the abortionists and no one is hurt or killed it is still hatred in the name of God.

GOD DOES NOT NEED US TO CARRY A GRUDGE FOR HIM!

He let us know that when He marked Cain. It was so that the self righteous would not carry a grudge for God's sake against Cain, and his children.

Perceptions of injustice can be attributed to almost anything, but God's will is not to use evil to stop evil. His will is to refrain from using blunt force to make us worhsip Him. Hence the "free will" that we all have. We have the freedom to choose evil for our own agendas or to leave the perceived injustices to God and His wisdom. Apparently too many people are impatient with our Gods will and take it in their own hands. That is not only a shame, but an evil.

That is not what God wants of you and I, nor of anyone else on His "blue jewel of a planet".

  8. It's no different. Just like the Oklahoma federal building bombing. McVeigh was a christian terrorist.

  9. Religious belief gets away with murder in more ways than one.
