  2. Weather is coolish  in March.  But a heavy sweater will do.  It's a great time as thre are fewer tourists and line are much shorter.

  6. I was in Rome in March of 2007. It was quite nice out. To me I thought it was warm since I'm from Manitoba Canada and in March it is quite cold here still. Only a light jacket was needed in the mornings, other than that I was wearing sandals and a t-shirt during the day. Very beautiful there.
