How is the commute between Northridge and Beverly Hills/LA area??

I just got a new job and Im concerned about the drive...anyone do that drive who can tell me how long it takes if I have to be at work at, lets say 8am??

  1. Not great, consider taking public transit to save stress & money. Depending upon where you are starting either the MTA or LADOT has express bus service linking the SF valley & Beverly Hills/West LA. The #573 & 574 would be a good possibility as they serve West LA directly from stops along Balboa Blvd in the Valley during weekday rush hours.   2. I'm guessing it should only take about 30-40 minutes in really heavy traffic especially if you take the 405. I commute all the way from Palmdale down to LA and it takes me about 60-90 minutes. You should try traffic.com, you can plan out your route and it will tell you how bad or good traffic is.
