How is the course Nurising related to Anthropology?

Anthropology teaches you that humans vary greatly in their beliefs and world views. What may be a appropriate in one culture may be completely inappropriate in the next. In being a nurse you are likely to come across people of many different cultural backgrounds who need your help. It is an advantage to have an understanding of different cultures. Perhaps a patient will reject a certain medical procedure because their culture is opposed to it? Maybe a person is engaging in an act that is advocated by their culture, but may be hurting their health at the same time? These are the things you need to be prepared to handle with understanding and tolerance.

It isn't except that anthropology is a science that deals somewhat with evolutionary theory and that relates to biology.  Maybe it gives you a better picture of the world but doesn't relate in a practical way.
