Can you give me an idea of lines at museums, weather, etc.

Also, tell me if I should buy one of those paris pass or metro card deals...

  1. The average high temperature in Paris in March is 11 degrees celsius/51 degrees farenheit, and the average low is 3 celsius, 38 farenheit. The average days with precipitation of some sort at eighteen and, on average, two of those days will have snow.

Generally speaking the Pass Museum Pass is not worthwhile unless you want to run from Museum to museum just to say you've been there. there's no reasonable way to see more than 1 or 2 museums a day and you'd need to visit more than that to make the pass economically worthwhile.

Paris is a great city to walk in. Its very compact and almost every block has something worth looking at. So unless the weather is really awful you'll probably want to see the city on foot.

Of course it can be pretty miserable in march so a Metro pass might be worthwhile. If you do buy a pass its generally better to buy a one day "mobilis" which is a better buy than the Paris Visite pass which they usually sell to toruists (the Mobilis is not advertised on the english language Metro website).

  2. Hi,

You may have some rains in March, but weather is not too cold (around10-13°C).

It's one of the less crowded season, that is nice ! Museum lines should not be too long. Hotels are less expensive and you'll find easily a room.

Unless you're a big fan of museum, museum pass are not very interesting.

About metro card, they are really worthwhile. Even if you walk a lot in Paris, sightseeings can be pretty far, and metro card is really cheapper than single tickets.

Moreover, metro card works also for buses. You can buy one in all Metro stations.
