  1. The LV to LA drive is typically boring, it really depends on where you going.  Are you traveling to LA proper, or just southern CA?  Baker, CA has the world's tallest thermometer.(about 90 min from Vegas)  Barstow has a cool rest area with fast food restaurants in boxcars. (a good 2 2.5 hrs is my memory is correct) Kids think this is cool!!!!  The closer you get to LA proper, the more interesting the drive is.

  2. its pretty boring mostly desert.

  3. OOOhhh my home town of Barstow CA!! Haaaa.. it looks like a c**p, but travelers seem to like "Barstow Station". There is a really nice mall called "Victoria Gardens" in Rancho Ca. (before Barstow, Ontario area). The tallest thermometer is Baker and there is an outlet mall at State Line. Have fun and make sure to stay gassed/checked up. A tow truck is a pain in the butt to get out there!

  4. I have driven that a bunch of times and the only attraction is if you are a fan of the old cowboy, Roy Rodgers, his museum with his horse Trigger and his dog Bullet, are right on I-15 near Victorville, Ca (15650 Seneca Rd, Victorville, CA - (760) 243-4547).

Then its kinda interesting to stop at the halfway point, Barstow, and get lunch or whatever and get off I-15 at Exit 178 (Lenwood Rd) and go west about a mile and you can drive into Barstow on the old historic Route 66; then it takes you back to I-15.

When you get to the Calif Nevada border at Primm, Nv. there are casinos right on the line and also a huge outlet mall.

Otherwise its a kinda boring drive.

  5. It is a long trip and depending on the traffic, up to more than SIX hours.  Stop at Barstow for potty and eats and then enjoy the drive through the mountains as you drop down to approach LA

Oh and you can stop in Apple Valley and see the Roy Rogers Dave Evans Museum

  6. There is the Calico Ghost Towns, it is really cool!  Then you can also stop and see the world's largest thermometer!

Mostly it is desert, so get driving!

  7. awesomeee

  8. Desert, mostly, but it's not bad. You can stop and rest up in places like Barstow, CA and Primm, NV, which is the first area over the Nevada line that has resorts.

  9. There r some really sute outlets that u can go to

that sell reallllyyy affordable fashion designer clothing for a reasonable price like Hollisterrrr and etc etc
