  1. Chicago suburbs.  Gas $4.33 a gallon, groceries have all gone up, commute time has gone up because it's construction season -  food pantries are feeding 34% more people now than they were at the same time last year.

  2. just ok... people in my area have not had major job losses, we have had increases in property values and increases in home sales, but our houses are cheap to begin with. our taxes are very high however. In my area healthcare is big, so most people have stable secure jobs for the most part. we do not have the commute problems like other areas so you can get from the burbs to downtown in 15 minutes, not burning alot of gas. we don't have much crime although it is increasing. seems as long as you have a good job, you can make it...but they did say int the news that less people are donating to our local charities and that there are more peolple in need of those services...overall...i still see lots of people eating out.....the mall parking lot is always full, I just don't see it that bad. people are managing

  3. Seems pretty good but I do see a lot of houses up for sale and no one is buying them

  4. I live about two hours south of Chicago in small town USA and the economy is total shitte I mean Weed is outrageous people are trying to sell eighths for like 60 bucks and it aint even good shitte.  Some times we go dry for days because dealers can't afford to pay for their new shipments. It's rediculous.

  5. Colorado's is decent.

    Housing still not so good

  6. Its ok but it definitly dropping. The automobile industry here in ontario is starting to die and its the main industry, and one of the only industries. I just hope that it gets better because alot of people are being laid off in Windsor ON, and people are running out of jobs.

  7. I'm from Michigan and the economy is not doing so well.

ever time I turn around it seems like there is some company in Michigan that are cutting jobs.

and it is harder and harder for people to find work in the state.

our biggest industry is the car industry and they are facing lots of trouble right now and some people are expecting that at least one of the big three wont be around much longer.

I've notice a number of foreclosed homes popping up in my neighborhood alone.
