  1. That's a vague question if I've ever seen one.

    Tukwila is a heavily developed part of the Seattle-Tacoma conurbation.  It lies at the junction of two interstate highways and contains loads of light industry and shipping-related activities.  It rains a lot, so air quality is usually decent, but I'm sure all the industry has put the groundwater as some risk.

    There's not much environment left, if you want to look at it that way, but there are no significant issues unusual for such a community, either.
