How is the eurostar journey like from london to paris?

how is the train and the comfort in it. iam going first time next week.

Did it nearly 4 years and really enjoyed it,  much better than the normal train service in this country. However. as with everything in life, the only person who knows if its suits, is yourself. Go with an open mind and enjoy!

Very nice. The trains are showing their age a bit now but it beats flying every time and is soooo much quicker than driving.

If you're not travelling first class you should take along your own refreshments. The buffet is not cheap.

Easy; less security hassle than air travel. Normal train seats. Refreshments available. Gets up to 180 mph. A good way to travel.

Very nice, beats the air travel by far.

You could be in a crowded area, but apart from that, the trains are nice and clean and it is a nice quick journey and you get dropped off not too far from the centre of Paris.

Have done it heaps of time. Have a great time!

its like flying!...absolutely no sensation of speed!...

One of the best journey in the world!  2h and 15 min from city center to city center.

Check in is very easy, it is like taking the tube, it took me 4 mins to check in go through passport control. On a  airline you will NERVER!!! get that! At least then do run on time unlike easyjet.

It is very comfy as well, you seat down and relax, ask to go to coach 5, you will have plugs if you want to use your laptop, or ipod without using your personal power.

You don t feel the speed at all.

As well the new terminal of St Pancras is fabulous!

If you want Euros take them before check in as after there is no currency exchange only 2 bars and newspaper shop.

i went at beginning of 2007 and it was good, now that they have opened st. pancras, it's quicker and the station looks good too.
