How is the expiration date written on cream cheese?

on the kraft philadelphia cream cheese box is the expiration date written day month year, or year month day. thanks

most often the date is written mm/dd/yr.  

But USUALLY that's a sell by date.  It doesn't mean the product knows to expire on that date!
