  1. if your talking about the ink refill kits none of them dont matter wehe you get them are any good as far as replacement cartrages i dont know

  2. That depends upon what cartidges you have, how long they have been empty and how well they were printing the last time you sucessfully used them.

Refilling is not perfect, some will love it, some will find it disastrous.

There are certain cartridges which can be refilled time and time again and some which will go kaput after you have empties their factory ink.

Without further information I really cannot comment.

Walgrees does offer a money back guarantee, so If you are not happy with the quality, take it back.  (they will keep your cartridge)

  3. Cartridges are deliberately designed to prevent refilling. Just browse through the messages here and see how many people have had problems with refilled cartridges. Yes, it can work a few times but the one time it doesnt and damages your printer, you will lose more than you saved. the damage is not covered under warranty.

if you want to save money, use brand new compatible cartridges from a reputable company which offers a guarantee. I have been using compatibles for about 10 years from http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp

With brand new compatibles costing $2-$5, how much money will you save on refilling?

  4. I'm currently using my third black refill from Walgreens and have had no problems with any of them. I am using a new color cartridge, but when it runs out, I'll get it refilled at Walgreens (two blocks away, and $10-15 cheaper than Wal-Mart or Office Depot.)

Oops - my printer is an HP Desk Jet 5440 Photo printer.
