It could effect your sense of integrity, if you see a star athlete involved with drugs that could alter your perception of what is acceptable and what is not.

It effects the younger generation and what see as the norm, with the large issue of steroid usage in professional sports, it is making a huge impression on children and adults.

With the olympics, it is a global competition to see which country is best at which event.  The use of drugs changes the playing field for an unfair advantage to a certain participant.
