How is the job market in Carlsbad, CA?

I'm moving out there in Jan. I currently live in upstate NY... I have a marketing degree which is doing me no good in Rochester. What is the job market like out there?

Oh wow... finally! I never see a question about Carlsbad on here, but I am from Carlsbad and have been here my whole life. The jobs here are great. Carlsbad has lots of opportunities because there is a business park with many companies and you could easily find a job. If not, you can easily drive 30 min. to San Diego or go North and find many jobs in Orange County. You should have no trouble out here. Carlsbad has a perfect location because it is located right in between San Diego and Orange county. You will love it out here! Feel free to email me if you have any more questions!

You may be able to find a job out hear but just like anywhere else things have slowed down a lot.
