Quality of life is excellent.Not less than any other major european countries,especially in big cities.

But the salaries are not good enough until you are experienced enough.You have to struggle a bit in first years after you begin working, of course if you don't have someone to back you up, or an uncle to give you a good salary at his office.

But it also depends on your profession.

According to a recent report the cost of living in Istanbul is about the same as in New York.

If you earn well, you hire/buy a house in a good neighborhood and life is swell for everybody.

Else, you will spend your life away in traffic and stress.

You can have a good life with a medium salary, too, provided your house in a good place. But I can't give you exact numbers, because whole families have to make to with 700 YTL, where others earn $20,000 a month.

It depends on where you live and how much you get. It changes according to regions. For example, if you live ina big city like Istanbul,it becomes easier to get everything. But, so as to have a good life conditions, you need to get a high salary. Other than working, you can have a good and cheap holiday in Turkey. It is among the most preferred cities.
