  1. civil planes usually leave the war zone well before the shooting starts. anyway if there is any civil plane, like those of the UN, or other neutral planes  they are usually being intercepted, escorted a suitable base, forced to land, the planes are being investigated and their country of origin is advised of the landing. the rest depends from the arrangements made.

The military planes or planes obviously commiting a deliberate attack are usually shot down.

On some occasions, enemy military planes might be intercepted and forced to land, like the US P-3 Orion few years ago in the China after midair collision with a chinese fighter. on such occasions the crews are detained, planes surveyed, and possibly returned to the owner togheter with the crew. in the warzone, they are more likely to become prisoners of war, plane being scraped or disabled.
