  1. My family came down to meet me in New York City in the 1980's and the entire time ALL OF THEM complained about the ride.

    It was loud and crowded and they all dreaded the trip back to Connecticut.

    I would much rather go that way than drive though.   If airfare was not much higher I would take it but not unless there was not much diff in price.

    I  value money more than temporary discomfort.
