Very friendly! very warm! very polite! very happy!

i could attest to that,as someone who came from another country,the people of perth have accepted us very warmly.

my god, they're so0o0 polite.they always greet the bus driver whenever they enter the bus and says thank you before getting off.

they smile at you whenever you meet them along the way.stranger to a stranger that is..

the cashiers,wait persons,staff from stores and restaurants always greet you with "hi,how are you?".  

people are not in a rush unlike other cities, they don't argue with you in a queue. they always give way to elderly, kids and pregnant women.

there are some negative sides also like issue with the aboriginal people but as long as you don't show any bad to them,they will not hurt you.



i always love it here.

I live in Perth, and yes we are very friendly.  Perth is quite multicultural, and therefore open to all sorts of nationalities.  It's a small, pretty, clean city - fantastic beaches, etc.
