  1. The owners of the brilliant Vakzuid Bar in Amsterdam are co-owners of this just-opened gem in Mumbai’s happening Bandra. Who said globalisation was a bad idea? A classy lounge bar and restaurant, your food is a selection of rich and spicy French, Thai, Japanese and Indonesian cuisine best enjoyed with some of the finest wines in the city – many from South Africa. But it’s the sumptuous glass-paned, wood-floored lounge area that you really want to spend most of your time, packed as it is with hordes of leggy Bombabes – local models, actresses and TV stars – sipping specialty cocktails from the sultry sofas while their boys sample a variety of Dutch and Indian beers. Your soundtrack is a mix of soothing western and Hindi tunes. Mumbai is the New York of the sub continent and it’s getting just as global. Go Zenzi!

First time in Mumbai and Zenzi and had a great lunch. Didn't feel like i was sitting in India!!!

Amazing! First time i went to mumbai went to this bar and i could not believe it! I was expecting bars that were low budget and full of old men - but the complete opposite here - this place is plush like anything, full of the right crowded, absolutely stunning babes and food awesome - i'm impressed!

Interiors are good provided you can see it in the dim light (supposedly soft & soothing lighting - as told by the attendant). Food...don't know what I was served - French?? Chinese?? Indo Continental?? Indo Chinese?? Anyway by the time it reached our table it was just warm & by the time we started eating all the sauces in it or served with the food had congealed.

We went for a meal (it was our honeymoon) and the service was incredible - we were welcomed warmly and met the executive chef who made us a dessert "on the house" after we finished the one we ordered. The food was fantastic! Go there!

I went there last Friday with a couple of my friends and it's a good place- just a bit crowded, with a bit too much trance for my liking.

My husband and I had high expectations when we went there to dine on our recent trip to Mumbai. However, we were most disappointed, so much so, that we hardly touched the food we ordered. The only good thing about Zenzi is its design. I might add, we had to ask for extra candles to be put on the table, as it was so dark inside, we could hardly see what was on our plate! I'd only ever go there again for a few drinks, never to eat!

You know the phrase "Looks can often be deceiving?". Well, that was coined after visiting this place. It's more an interior design marvel than anything else. Cocktails here, truly live up to the name, I think the bartenders would s***w up even when serving a coke!

Zenzi was probably one of the places I mostly frequented while in India. And it was fun every time: I liked the music, the food, the people and the place itself. Too bad I couldn't see DJ Kut Klass play; I heard he is really good.

Zenzi looks great. But it's losing ground fast... Bombay is a disconcerting mix of people who know NOTHING about food/drink and people who will shock you with the experience of their palates. The food at Zenzi, except for maybe 4 items on the menu, is mediocre. I know 2 people who got sick eating pork ribs there and their stir fry is just disgusting. Also, I know this sounds shallow, but the ugly quotient of the crowd there is bringing the place down. They need to be more choosy at the door, not let the "hangers on" in, soup up the music and make it happen! The space deserves it.

Best place to relax and unwind in Mumbai. In Leicester we don't have such a place. The ambiance was excellent, drinks menu was excellent and the service OK.

I must say this place is fantastic. The music, food and ambience are all good and the people who come here are fantastic . I am in the fashion business and most of my clents( who are Spanish and French) absolutely love it . Keep it up!

Just came back from Mumbai - must say I'm impressed, I'm a dj in Toronto Canada and would love to throw down in that space - I met a few dj's from the UK (who were supposed to e-mail me by the way - NERM) - anyways if any of the owners/management who do the bookings read this my e-mail is julianmartis@yahoo.ca

again must say cheers it’s a tight spot - done right - although the sound system could use a little work.

Cool .Love the food, Mumbai needs to be educated about fine dining, thank god Zenzi has come to do just that. Stay for the long haul and change the palate mind set.

Went to this bar several times during my visit to Bombay in the last 2 weeks. It is the most pretentious and clinical bars I have ever been to. Being a New York city area resident and a NYC bar type, I was totally disappointed with the bar scene in Bombay in general. So fake and shallow. Well its glad to be back home in NYC and I am dying to go and hit the REAL bars in NYC next week.

Great Place and amazingly relaxing music. However, need to take care of what you order, what you get and what you are paying for.

Zenzi is the best bar in Mumbai with out a doubt! Not only can you drink the night away but you can eat the best food in the city at the same time!

Went there on a Thursday, very chic, great crowd. Well done interiors though the walls look a little bare and most importantly great bar service.
