How is the procedure that goes on when you get a tooth exposure and getting a bracket placed on impacted tooth

What exactly do they do,&i was wondering, after you get a tooth exposure done, can you tell that you've had one from another person's point of view?

i'm going back to school in september, and im afraid im going to look ridiculous.

  1. I have had this procedure done.

    I was put to sleep for it, but my surgeon told me what happen.  They cut out the gum, and find the tooth (that easy).  Then they dry the tooth and glue on a little bracket.  Other people can't see it, unless you show them ;). After you get the procedure done, it will feel gross for a while and you will have to eat only very soft, not hot foods. It's a simple procedure. Don't worry!!
