How is the production of natural gas considered beneficial to the planet/humans?

well it's considered beneficial because ozon is considered a natural gas

Natural gas burns slightly cleaner than oil, so it is considered a better alternative.  However, it is still a pollutant, so solar energy and wind/hydro power are still better.

It isnt it pollutes the same as oil. It just is a little cleaner.
