Hello!

I have a road test next Wednesday in Haverhill, MA to get my license.

I got my permit, all road tests done, I think I have everything down pat I am just nervous when It comes to the test. I always get nervous during tests! How is Haverhill, MA for a road test? Also how can I ease myself before the big road test?

Thanks.

  1. The same lady usually is the one to test everyone. She's kind of bitchy, but remains completely silent during the whole test. Just take your time, breathe, and you should be fine.

If you haven't already, practice driving around Haverhill center (by the library, city hall, RMV, etc. Basically where your driver's ed. teacher should have taken you. If you went through Mr. K's, they take you pretty much where the test is. Practice uphill parking w/ curb and w/o and backing up 50 ft. They shouldn't make you park into a parking spot, but you do parallel park and from there back up 50 ft. Know your hand signals. Always use blinkers.

I was nervous as h**l too. Especially since I had to do it after a snow storm from the previous night and a girl before me failed. Overall, it was easy.

  2. Oh man, that guy is MEAN!!  You might as well just stay home!

Just kidding.  Relax.  Practice between now and then, and don't sweat it.  If you don't pass, you can take it again.
