I'm applying to Wal-mart in Ontario, Canada. How is the scheduling done, how much time can you take off, and when can you take off time, what are the minimum working hours you have to do? This is for part time. Thanks!

  1. Many people say that Walmart is a good company to work for - I know people who have worked there for years, and very much like it, while others say that Walmart lowers labor standards.  Part time employees have fewer options in terms of the questions you ask.  Generally with Walmart, as with most other retailers, it depends on your seniority, and your training and experience.  Often employees are not supposed to discuss salary and other work details, even with each other, because all employees are not necessarily paid the same or treated the same.  So you may have difficulty getting a consistent answer to your question.  You need to ask these questions if you are called for an interview.  Best of luck with it.
