I'm thinking of heading up there-is it worth it for a mediorce skier like myself or is it all expert terrain?

  1. My best recommendation for excellent/affordable summer skiing is to head South the Bariloche, Argentina.  I was there last summer along w/ the US Ski Team as well as the Canadians & Italians.  It's amazing & reasonable.  Remember, the dollar is a lot stronger than an Argentian Peso.  Oh yea, you pretty much have to be pro to even be allowed to ski Whistler in the summer (or in a race camp).

  2. It is pretty much hard stuff up on Blackcomb. It is beautiful skiing, though.

    Hope this helps.
