The carbon credit aims at stimulating the use of sustainable forms of producing and living? Penalizes who pollutes and awards who preserves? Can countries that have promoted their development without worrying about nature, cutting their forests, killing their fauna and Indian population (read all the developed countries), demand that countries such as China or Brazil stop developing to stop of polluting? Wouldn’t penalties now imposed to countries of the third world for the destruction of the nature and pollution be a barrier to their development that countries of the first world did not have? Wouldn’t Brazil, being the country with the largest preserved area and number of fauna and flora species, be the most indicated country to manage a world-wide system of carbon credits?
